Case study 6
Fixing gum marks and wearing teeth
This young patient was concerned by the marks around the gum line on his teeth. He was also concerned by the fact that his front teeth were wearing away.
We discovered that there was an underlying bite issue that was leading to the front edges of the teeth wearing, and this was also causing headaches.
Treatment consisted of whitening and minimal all ceramic crowns (0.3mm thick) to re-establish the appearance and function of the top teeth, solving the aesthetic and bite issues at the same time.
