Graduating from Cardiff University Dental School in 1993, Neil is highly skilled in all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dental treatments.
He spent 4 years working in Cardiff following graduation before a move to become a dentist in Gloucester, where he worked for 7 years. In 2004 he opened HRS Dental care, in Stonehouse near Stroud, with an aim to produce world class dentistry alongside a highly personalised service from well trained staff, who are willing to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding patient care.
Each year he spends about 150 hours on courses to ensure that he is at the leading edge of dentistry in the UK, staying up to date with the new techniques, technologies, and materials so that he can deliver the best dentistry possible.
He is recognised as one of the leading cosmetic dentists in the UK and is regularly involved in teaching dentists around the country on aspects of cosmetic dentistry. He is a former Director for The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, who are the leading cosmetic dentistry organisation in the UK.
Neil is a graduate of The Dawson Academy UK, a centre for advanced dentistry based in the Wirral, and has become one of the teaching staff of the faculty regularly teaching dentists from all over the world about functional and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr Harris provides many advanced solutions including dental implants, invisible braces, teeth whitening and smile makeovers. He has also completed advanced training for jaw joint problems and accepts referrals from local dentists for treatment.
He has had numerous articles on his work published in the UK and abroad and has lectured internationally on cosmetic dentistry.
Neil Lives in Thornbury with his wife Becky and their two sons, Tom, and Jack. In his spare time Neil likes to play golf and enjoys skiing. In 2011 he completed a 969-mile bike ride from John O’Groats to Lands’ End in 9 days, raising over £5000 for charity. He also coaches his son’s local football team in Thornbury and helps run the local cub scout group.
